And yet the number of cases has gone down this year - in just one month itself, the BMC has recorded 2800 cases of malaria in the city. That's around 60 per cent less cases than the same time, last year. But the big worry is the 2500 odd construction sites all over Mumbai, which are hotspots for mosquito breeding.
