SEO is a long process. It must be done carefully. Even with a little laziness in checking the domains while link building will punish your website.

Seo is the time taking process to get results. Due to lack of knowledge and due to wanting results fast, some people goes against the google's guidelines, it makes the people fail n SEO.

People fails in SEO because search engine is too much intelligent and strict and if you do any black hat seo then search engine get to know about it and makes your website fail. Means your website gets penalty and rankings drop.
