How to find the answer: Search [islands San Francisco Bay] and find a list of all the islands. Only two are in San Rafael Bay: West Marin Island and East Marin Island. Searching for [rookery West Marin Island] will show that herons and egrets enjoy the largest rookery (breeding site) in the area.
